Identity

Identity is a key feature of an understanding of self.  A sense of identity, however, can be hard to achieve.

Understanding and treasuring your uniqueness can become an internal struggle and often a solo battle.

Treasure Therapies offers a trusted space to explore and discover the aspects of self.

Low mood, anxiety and depression

Life can produce challenging changes and circumstances. Worries and emotions can build and become overwhelming. Often felt to be a low mood that repeats or fails to go away.

Anxiety can be experienced as a temporary but often scary and  overwhelming intrusion.

You may recognise that you are or have experienced difficult thoughts, feelings or changes in behaviour. Perhaps people have voiced concerns about you. This can all feel very scary, lonely and often as though people you know do not understand or cannot help. You may feel ready to explore that.

Engaging in a therapeutic relationship where all thoughts and experiences can be explored can provide you with the positive change you seek.

Cross-cultural Therapy

I work with difference and without discrimination. I hold strong values in providing quality therapy in a relationship that works to the benefit of all my clients.

I am inclusive with individuals who identify as male, female, gender non-conforming or ambiguous; from various classes, disabilities, socio-economic, cultural groups and nations of origin. Additional language speakers, those with religious and non-religious backgrounds, are fully welcomed and respected.

Relating and Relationships

Relationships can be as varied as the experiences we have in our lifetimes. They can build us and impact us both consciously and subconsciously.

You may be experiencing challenges in external relationships with family, friends, teachers, colleagues in romantic or sexual relationships. The challenge may even be with the relationship you have with your self.

Through understanding ourselves within therapy we can work towards relating to ourselves and others better than before.

Within therapy, you can explore how you communicate and relate to others. The origin of your behaviours and the impacts can become clearer and hopefully more manageable.

Self-esteem and behaviour

At any stage, during our lives, we can develop challenging feelings about ourselves. Who we think we are and how we feel about others. There can be a struggle to think positively about ourselves and our circumstances. This can affect how we behave and respond.

Family members, friends, colleagues or someone at school may be reaching out about changes or challenges they are noticing.

This can be an indication that therapy could be of benefit. You're welcome to enquire today using the contact details provided.
